Job Description: 


The Sales Director at Aionic will help define, lead and execute the go to market plan that will see the organization grow. This role will be one of the faces of the organization to perspective customers and partners and will execute upon roles from end to end of the sales pipeline. The sales director will drive all aspects of the sales cycle from lead identification and curation through to presentations, RFP responses and contracts. This role will also be responsible for the growth and relationships of our software partner network within the ecommerce, CMS and customer experience spaces. We expect the sales director to develop into a leader within the organization as someone who can continuously refine messaging and positioning to best serve the needs of the market.


Who will you work with? 


As a sales director, you will work directly with Aionic’s Chief Revenue Officer and coordinate closely with the technical delivery team during various parts of the sales cycle. The successful candidate will work closely with perspective customers and our software partners’ points of contact with the goal of building relationships and signing new clients. .  


Responsibilities: 


  • Creating and maintaining go to market / sales plans 
  • Identifying leads and executing initial communications with a minimum benchmark of qualified leads per quarter 
  • Building, managing and growing relationships with software partners and vendors 
  • RFP Response process and writing 
  • Managing HubSpot (or similar) data, reporting and presenting sales pipeline data to leadership team 
  • Creating and presenting sales slide decks to perspective customers - leveraging knowledge from the delivery team where applicable 
  • Creating sales stories and content that relate to specific company and industry use cases 
  • Participate in conferences with software partners and customers 

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • At least 10+ years of experience in a similar role. Experience at a technology services or software company required with a robust network of individuals or organizations to whom you have sold services or software. 
  • Experience with sales in a technology services organization with a focus on the core services that Aionic provides, including Ecommerce, CMS, customer experience platforms, loyalty platforms or other customer facing elements of end user facing technology stacks 
  • Experience driving lead generation/finding and cultivating leads 
  • Experience creating a scalable and repeatable lead generation engine that a sales team
  • Selling to corporations with more than $500M in annual revenue 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite level stakeholders. 
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills. 
  • Technical Skills: Moderate technical aptitude is a required to be able to accurately explain complex concepts and services that Aionic provides to the market.
